FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I ship my vehicle if it’s non-operational?
Yes. Most carrier companies provide their drivers with a winch, however in this case a vehicle must roll, steer and brake in order to get loaded on and off a trailer. If your vehicle doesn’t possess any of the above-mentioned characteristics, a forklift will be needed. You can either arrange it yourself or have one provided for you at an additional cost.
2. How far in advance should I book the transportation?
Usually, all the carriers schedule their pickups a week ahead of the departure. We recommend giving us a notice 3-5 days prior to the transportation to be able to locate you a reasonable carrier.
3. Can I put some personal items in the car?
We do not recommend to put your personal items inside the vehicle, however you can pack up to 100 lbs. of your belongings in the trunk or inside the vehicle, but make sure they are below the window level and properly secured.
4. Do I need to be present at the pick up and delivery locations?
You don’t have to be present at the pick up if you have anyone to provide the keys to the driver. Also, you don’t have to be present at the delivery location as long as you figure out how to pay the carrier. We would recommend to be present on both locations to be able to inspect the vehicle.
5. Is the quote all inclusive?
Yes, the quote includes all the fees, taxes, and insurance and it is a door to door delivery service. We guarantee the price with the carrier and sum up by signing a contract so there is no unexpected price changes.
6. Will my vehicle be driven?
The only time your vehicle will be driven is when the driver’s loading it on and off. The whole time the vehicle will stay at the same trailer and will not be shuffled around.
8. What should I do to prepare my vehicle for the transportation?
Remove all antennas and loose parts, toll tags and parking passes. Make sure it’s a ¼ tank of fuel. The battery is fully charged. The vehicle is clean and there are no personal items (other than discussed).
9. How long will the shipment take?
Our drivers usually cover up to 400 miles a day:
  • 400 miles – 1-2 days
  • 800 miles – 2-3 days
  • 1200 miles – 3-4 days
  • 1600 miles – 4-5 days
  • 2000 miles – 5-6 days

  • 10. How do I pay?
We do not charge anything upfront. The only time we charge a partial deposit for fees and tolls is when the vehicle is picked up. The balance you pay to the driver with cash or any certified funds at the time of delivery.
    11. Can I track the location of my vehicle?
Once the carrier is assigned, you will receive an email with all the information and driver’s phone number and email address. You can also contact your shipping representative to find out the location of your vehicle.
